Mainsoft's Visual MainWin drives rapid multi-platform deployment of customer applications for Computer Associates

San Jose, Calif.- March 20, 2002 - Mainsoft Corporation, the software porting company, today announces that its Visual MainWin® solution is being utilized by Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) to support its multi-platform development activities.

Mainsoft's Visual MainWin helps CA rapidly port Advantage OpenROAD - a high-performance enterprise application development and server solution - natively, across multiple operating systems while reducing development costs.

Visual MainWin is central to the Mainsoft portability solution used by CA. Unlike emulator-type solutions, Visual MainWin is a complete porting solution that leverages code from a single source code base onto multiple platforms.

Analyst research and customer feedback indicates that the most often cited reason for choosing Advantage OpenROAD is its cross-platform independence.

"Multi-platform support is a major focus for CA," said Ricardo Antuna, vice president, marketing, Advantage solutions, CA. "Clearly, delivering the most feature-rich product possible is also key to our success, and Visual MainWin helps our developers concentrate more on creating new functionality, not porting."

"We are tremendously excited to be at the very heart of such a core CA product line," said Yaacov Cohen, Mainsoft's chief executive officer. "By removing the need to rewrite code, Visual MainWin enhances CA's ability to deliver high-value, e-business management solutions across multiple platforms."
