Mainsoft ships first MainWin 3.0 Application as Microsoft launches Internet Explorer on Unix
SUNNYVALE, Calif. - March 4, 1998 -
Mainsoft, a leading supplier of cross-platform development

that Microsoft, (NASDAQ: MSFT), has shipped Internet Explorer 4.0 on Unix by utilizing
MainWin XDE 3.0 as its technology infrastructure.
Microsoft announced today the release of their
award-winning Internet browser, which continues their commitment to providing
cross-platform support to corporations, content developers and users worldwide. Internet
Explorer provides users with the best of breed browser and is the only browser on Unix
that supports rich and standards-based web content such as dynamic HTML and XML.

MainWin 3.0 is now available on Solaris Sparc 2.51
platform. MainWin XDE 2.1 is currently available on Solaris Sparc 2.51, Solaris Intel
5.5.1, SunOS 4.1.4, Irix 5.3, Irix 6.2, HP UX 10.2 and IBM AIX 4.1.5. Pricing starts at
$15,000 per seat including, support.
