The Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator for Lotus Notes logo

Mainsoft SharePoint® Integrator for Lotus Notes® integrates content from Microsoft® SharePoint sites into Lotus Notes, including intuitive point-and-click access to SharePoint document libraries and calendars. Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator allows you to work with and share e-mail messages and documents on SharePoint from within Lotus Notes.

Main features

  • Navigate SharePoint sites from Notes and work with SharePoint documents.
    • Access SharePoint documents and e-mail, along with their metadata.
    • Add SharePoint documents into Lotus Notes applications, such as Mail and Calendar.
    • Quickly locate content stored on one or more SharePoint sites using search, favorites, history, and back/forward buttons.
    • Create new documents, and modify existing documents on the SharePoint site.
    • Be prompted to check in documents and fill in required metadata.
  • Share e-mail messages in SharePoint.
    • Upload Lotus Notes e-mail messages and attachments to SharePoint, with preserved e-mail headers.
    • Automatically replace attachments with SharePoint links in outgoing e-mail messages.
  • Integrate SharePoint calendars in Lotus Notes.
  • Initiate a Sametime® chat with the author, most recent editor, or person who has checked out a SharePoint document.
  • Provisioning of preferences by the Domino administrator.
  • No modifications are required to the SharePoint Server infrastructure.

System requirements

These are the required software components for Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator for Lotus Notes 2.0.2:

  • IBM® Lotus Notes 6.5.x, 7.x, or 8.x
  • SharePoint calendar integration is supported only in Lotus Notes 8.5.x Standard Configuration, and requires the Notes 8.5 Mail template.
  • Microsoft Windows. See supported versions in Detailed system requirements for Lotus Notes.
  • Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) version 3.0, or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, or Microsoft SharePoint Online.
