Launch Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator - Steps for Different Lotus Notes Versions
Launch Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator according to your Lotus Notes version, as follows:
For Lotus Notes 8.x (Standard Configuration):
Open the SharePoint Documents sidebar panel, located to the right in the Lotus Notes application. If the sidebar is closed, you can turn it on by selecting View > Right Sidebar > Open from the application menu. If the SharePoint Documents panel is not visible in the sidebar, you can enable it by selecting View > Right Sidebar Panels > SharePoint Documents.
For Lotus Notes 6.5.x, 7.x, and 8.x (Basic Configuration):
Launch the standalone application of Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator for Lotus Notes from the Windows Start menu or from the notification area on the Windows taskbar.
Arranging the windows of the standalone application and Lotus Notes
The standalone application is designed to coexist with Lotus Notes’ application window. This allows you to work side-by-side with SharePoint and Lotus Notes, and copy documents between them easily using drag-and-drop operations. Following are the modes of operation to assist you in arranging the windows:
Have Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator dock with the Lotus Notes application:
From the View application menu or from the application toolbar, select Tile with Lotus Notes. This arranges the two applications side-by-side on your desktop. Select Undo Tile to revert the windows back to their original size and position.
You can further set Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator to tile automatically with Lotus Notes when it opens. Select the Open Tiled with Lotus Notes option from the View application menu or select this option in the Preferences… dialog.
Note: Lotus Notes must be running for the windows to tile.
Keep Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator always on top:
From the View menu, select the Always on Top option. With a low screen resolution this is preferable, as it allows you to keep the Lotus Notes application window maximized and still easily copy documents to and from SharePoint using drag-and-drop operations.
