Selecting a Document Content Type During Upload

When uploading a new document to a document library with multiple content types, the default content type is applied automatically. Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator allows you to change this behavior by selecting the Let me select content type during document upload check box in File > Preferences… > SharePoint > Settings….

In Preference you set if you want to select content type when uploading documents.

Note: This setting is disabled if your Domino administrator has provisioned it. For more information about provisioning settings, read the Administration Guide.

When this option is selected and you upload documents to libraries with multiple content types, the Choose Content Type dialog prompts you to select a content type from the drop-down list.

The Choose Content Type dialog prompts you to select the document's content type.

Note: When multiple documents are uploaded, the default content type is applied automatically and the Choose Content Type dialog is not displayed.
