Adding SharePoint calendars
To add a SharePoint calendar to Lotus Notes:
- Expand the Show Calendars section in the Notes Calendar application’s left sidebar.
- Click the Add a Calendar… text link to open the Add a Calendar dialog.
- From the Add drop-down menu, select SharePoint Calendar.
- Enter a Label, which will be used to identify the calendar in Lotus Notes.
- Click the Lookup… button to open the Select a SharePoint Calendar, which lets you locate the calendar you wish to access. Browse through the registered SharePoint sites and select a calendar. You can also register a new SharePoint site from the Select a SharePoint Calendar dialog, by clicking the Add Site... button.
- Select the View this calendar when offline or on a mobile device check box, if you wish to view the SharePoint calendar events when working offline. For more information, read Viewing SharePoint calendars offline).
- To easily distinguish events in this SharePoint calendar from other events in your calendar view, set the calendar entry formatting: select a background color, a text color, and an entry icon.
- Click OK.
The events of the added SharePoint calendars appear in all standard calendar views, as well as in the Day-At-A-Glance sidebar panel. You can toggle the visibility of each calendar by using the check box next to the calendar label in the left sidebar.
Note: SharePoint events are only visible in the Notes Calendar application after the Show Calendars section has been expanded in the left sidebar.
Removing SharePoint calendars
To remove a SharePoint calendar from Lotus Notes, right-click the calendar in the Notes Calendar application’s left sidebar, and select Remove.
Modifying SharePoint calendar settings
To modify the SharePoint calendar settings, right-click the calendar label in the Notes Calendar application’s left sidebar, and select Modify. The Modify Calendar dialog opens, allowing you to modify offline settings and calendar entry formatting for the SharePoint calendar.
