Social Connector for Rational Jazz uses a caching mechanism that stores data from the Social network server to speed up response time.

To configure cache settings:

1. Open the Server > Advanced Properties page of Rational Jazz.
2. Locate the Social Network Component, and set the following values:
   1. Cache Timeout. The number of minutes until fetched data expires. Default value is 5 minutes.
   2. Maximum Cache Size (MB). Default value is 300 MB. When the cache reaches its maximum size, no further caching is made, until data expires and is removed from the cache.

When data is returned from the cache, the server performs an asynchronous call to the social site to refresh the data.
