Working with the Documents view
Mainsoft Document Collaboration for Rational Jazz adds a new Documents view to the Rational Team Concert client. The Documents view can be opened by double-clicking a document location in the Documents folder of the Team Artifact view, or from the Windows menu, by selecting Show View > Other… and Documents > Documents.

The Documents view allows you to navigate and access documents sites, including dragging documents to and from the view.
The drop-down list in the Documents view displays all the Document Sites you have registered through the Team Artifacts view (subsites are not available here), and lets you switch quickly between sites. The document libraries and subsites (if configured to be shown) of the selected site are listed in the document list. Double-click a subsite or a document library to view its contents. When applicable, the topmost entry is displayed as “..” and navigates to the parent location when double-clicked. Documents that are checked out have a small blue arrow indicator on their icon. The status pane at the bottom of the sidebar panel shows you the breadcrumbs (parent elements) of the current location. Right-clicking on an element in the breadcrumbs, shows the context menu from where you can open the location in a web browser or copy the link.

Use the Back and Forward buttons to navigate through recently visited locations. The arrow next to the Back button shows the recent navigation history.
You can add a Document Site, document library, or a folder to your Favorites list, using the Favorites drop-down button. Click the Favorites button to add or remove a location from your Favorites, or on the arrow next to the button to visit a location stored in your Favorites. The star in the bottom status pane indicates whether the current location is in your Favorites list (the star is yellow) or not (the star is white). You may also add or remove a location from the Favorites list by clicking the star button in the status pane.
