Working with the Documents folder
All configured Document Sites are displayed under the Documents folder. You can expand a site to view its subsites and document libraries.
Open a document location
Right-click a Document Site or document library, and select Open (or double-click the location) to view its contents in a new Eclipse view, the Documents view.Refresh the display
Right-click a Document Site or document library and select Refresh, to refresh the displayed location, and to view changes made to the document library or its server settings.Edit credentials
Right-click a Document Site and select Edit Credentials… to change the credentials to access the Document Site.
Select Use Windows credentials to connect to the configured Document Site with the logged in Windows user’s user name and password.
Note: The Use Windows credentials option is not available in the Lotus Quickr edition of Document Collaboration for Rational Jazz.
Alternatively, select Use custom credentials to supply a user name and password that will be used to access the site. Make sure to include a domain name, if needed.
Edit site properties

Right-click a Document Site and select Properties to edit the site title or to configure it to point to another URL. For Microsoft SharePoint sites, you can also choose to show or hide subsites by selecting or clearing the Hide subsites and workspaces check box.
Remove a configured site
Right-click a Document Site and select Delete… to remove it from the Documents folder.Subscribe to an RSS feed
Note: This operation is not available if the SharePoint site uses Windows credentials.
Right-click a document library and select Subscribe to Feed to subscribe to the document library’s RSS feed. This adds a new item to the Feeds folder in Team Artifacts, and lets you stay up-to-date with changes in the document library.
Configure document library settings
Note: This operation is not available in the Lotus Quickr edition of Document Collaboration for Rational Jazz.
The following settings may be configured using the Settings menu in the document library’s context menu:
- Feed: Opens the SharePoint Web page for updating the RSS settings for the document library.
- Content approval: Opens the SharePoint Web page for configuring versioning settings for the document library, including content approval and version history settings.
- Workflows: Opens the SharePoint Web page for configuring workflow settings for the document library.
