Licensing and Trial Extension

When you first access your Mainsoft Document Collaboration for Rational Jazz installation, a 60-day free trial starts. As the trial license is close to expiring, the Document View of Rational Team Concert Client will notify you of how many days are left. You should contact your IBM Rational sales representative to purchase a license or to get a free 30-day extension of the free trial.

Three commercial licenses are available, depending on the edition of Rational Team Concert: a 50-user license for the Express edition, a 250-user license for the Standard edition, and an unlimited license for the Enterprise edition.

Note: The Related Document Workflow precondition is only available in the Enterprise and Standard editions.
When there is no valid registered license, the following features are blocked:
  • Documents View navigation
  • Add and Configure Document Site
  • Configuration of the Document Approval precondition in Process Configuration.
