Installing and updating the client component for Rational Team Concert v2.x
Note: To update the client component of Document Collaboration, you first need to remove the existing version.
The Mainsoft Document Collaboration client component is installed as a regular Eclipse update site. To install the client component in Rational Team Concert v2.x, do the following:
- Depending on the type of Document Site you use, download the update site for the appropriate Document Collaboration edition from ibm.com/software/awdtools/document:
- For Microsoft SharePoint: DocumentCollaborationClientUpdateSiteforRTC2_SharePoint.zip
- For Lotus Quickr: DocumentCollaborationClientUpdateSiteforRTC2_Quickr.zip
Note: You cannot install both editions on the same computer.Note: The Eclipse update manager does not support installation of update sites that are located on a UNC path. - From Rational Team Concert’s application menu, select Help > Software Updates....
- Select the Available Software tab and click the Add Site... button.
- In the Add Site dialog, click Archive... and browse to the local copy of the update site that you downloaded.
- Select the check box for "Mainsoft Document Collaboration for Rational Jazz", click the Install button and follow the on-screen instructions.
