Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator for Lotus Notes
Features overview
Access and publish documents
Effortlessly collaborate on SharePoint documents from your e-mail client (Lotus Notes or Microsoft Outlook):
Quickly locate content stored on SharePoint using SharePoint views, tag filter, document ratings, search, favorites, history, breadcrumbs, and back/forward buttons. Single sign-on is also supported.
Publish SharePoint documents. Drag documents to SharePoint and use common SharePoint operations such as check-in, check-out, and version history. Users can view and edit SharePoint document properties, such as managed metadata, within the e-mail client.
Prompt to check in documents that are checked out and fill in document metadata. These reminders help users learn how to work within a structured SharePoint taxonomy.
Send SharePoint document links in e-mail messages by dragging document links from the sidebar.
Replace attachments with links. Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator reduces e-mail storage costs by promoting the use of document links in outgoing e-mails. Dragging SharePoint documents to the message creates links to the document residing on the server. When sending attachments, SharePoint Integrator suggests that the user replace attachments with links.
