Mainsoft's .NET-Java interoperability product suite enables companies to use existing development skills and tools to integrate .NET code and skills into a scalable, flexible Java EE-enabled IT infrastructure. Microsoft^® developers use Mainsoft's Visual Studio^®-based SDK, C#, and Visual Basic^® to integrate .NET applications and services onto Java EE servers and portal servers.

• Mainsoft, Enterprise Edition, delivers .NET-Java EE interoperability by enabling ASP.NET and server applications to run natively on Java EE application servers such as Tomcat and WebSphere Application Server. Mainsoft simplifies .NET-Java interoperability by integrating the two platforms at development time, without having to build a complex interoperability layer.
• Mainsoft, Portal Edition, enable organizations to deliver scalable, role-based access to all enterprise assets, both .NET and Java, within an integrated WebSphere Portal environment.
• Mainsoft, Developer Edition, (aka Grasshopper), is a freely available Visual Studio 2008 and 2005 plug-in that enables .NET developers to create ASP.NET applications that run natively on Windows, Linux, and any Java-enabled platform, deployed on Tomcat. It is designed for small user group deployments. Full access to features such as multi-CPU capabilities and fully-featured Java EE application servers are available with Mainsoft, Enterprise Edition.

• Mainsoft for UNIX and Linux is an application-porting platform that enables software vendors to develop applications in Visual C++ and deploy them natively on UNIX^® and Linux^®. It enables software vendors to deploy products on multiple UNIX and Linux 32-bit and 64-bit platforms from a single set of Visual C++ source code.
